Mary Augusta Adams (May 9, 1925 - July 6, 2012)
Mary Augusta Adams, age 87, went to Heaven on Friday, July 6, 2012 peacefully in her sleep. She was born May 9, 1925. She graduated from Lakeshore High School in St. Clair Shores and later married her best friend and they spent 68 beautiful years together. Mary loved being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed going to church, singing in the choir and teaching Sunday school. She enjoyed being a member of The Shores and Belvidere Boat clubs, as well as The Elks and Lions Clubs. She is survived by her husband Edger Adams, Daughter Darlene (Douglas), Grandchildren Robert (Andrea), William, Tanya (Nicholas), Tamara (Bryan), Great-Grandchildren Amanda, Kamron, John, David, Nathaniel, Allyssa, Dominic and Ava. Visitation and services will be held at the Wm. R. Hamilton Co. - Mount Clemens. Visitation is open on Monday, July 9, 2012 from 2 - 8 pm. Services will be at noon on Tuesday, July 10, 2011, Pastor Mary Fitzgerald officiating.
